Newbie needs help.

I just installed Redhat 7.2 on a HP with a Cel 800mhz and 256RAm
I have everything working fine except for my ethernet card. Im running a small home network, (4 computers) of a linksys etherfast cable/dsl router. My network card is a SMC 1211. The cable internet provider i use uses dynamic IP addresses/DHCP. I can't for the love of pete figure out how to get linux to recognize the card. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
thanks ahead of time

This page seems to suggest that your NIC is compatible by using the RealTek drivers (aren't they all?). RH7.2 has a fairly recent kernel, so you should be able to use one of the 8139 drivers.
