Please re-read the LQ Rules:

I had tried myself and at last posted here to get some idea. I am not looking for exact answers, but would like to have some hint.

Thanks,

Do you want to post those attempts? Like TobiSGD said, people will be far more willing to help you if they don't feel they're just giving you answers on a plate :)

If you do expect some help here at LQ then you need to provide the requested material or feedback. We will be glad to aid you but not carry you.

(1) List all users on system who use sh as the login shell.
What do you think the answer should be for the first question?

Verbatim listing of homework is not against the LQR as other members have shown you. It would be best to first contact the Instructor/Teacher with the problem rather than let someone else feed the answers to you.

Do you have class notes, text or workbook to check? Google?

Just a few links to aid you to gaining some understanding if your notes or text do not provide enough;
