Need details on the classes available in the /sys/class folder on RHEL and SuSE.

1) I need details on what information these classes provide.

- scsi_host
- fc_host
- fc_transport
- scsi_device
- scsi_disk

2) Also, need details on the naming conventions used for naming files belonging to the above classes.

3) Is it possible to get the targetmapping details from the details available in the /sys/class directory?

4) Is it safe to use the systool command to get the details?

All of this sounds like homework to me.

What, specifically, are you trying to find? What VERSION of RedHat and SuSE? Both RHEL and SLES are paid-for distros, that include support. They can easily answer questions like this.

As far as (3), yes you can. (4), yes, it's safe.
