Nautilus CD-burning no longer works

Hi there,

I can't seem to get Nautilus CD Burner to work anymore. I put a bunch of files into burn:///, and pressed "Write to CD". Then the following error message appeared in the Terminal:
Code:
GET CONFIGURATION failed with SK=2h/ASC=3ah/ASCQ=00h
If it helps, my CD Burn settings are:
Target to write to: SONY - CD-RW CRX160E
Write speed: Maximum possible
CD name: Personal Data, Apr 30, 2004

Erase CD: NO
Eject CD when done: YES
Reuse these files for another CD: NO

Then when I click "Write files to CD", the popup box shows up:
"Writing to CD. Please wait. <progress bar> Creating CD image"
But the progress bar never changes, that is, the CD image is never created.

Could this be some software glitch? It detected my CD-RW drive properly. It just stops when it's supposed to create the ISO file to write.

Please help!

Thanks,
Vince

Re: Nautilus CD-burning no longer works

Here's my /etc/fstab file for good measure:
Code:
/dev/hda2 / ext3 defaults 1 1
/dev/hda3 /boot ext2 defaults 1 2
none /dev/pts devpts mode=0620 0 0
/dev/hdc /mnt/cdrom auto user,sync,ro,iocharset=iso8859-1 0 0
/dev/scd0 /mnt/cdrom2 auto user,iocharset=iso8859-1,exec,sync,ro 0 0
none /mnt/floppy supermount dev=/dev/fd0,fs=ext2:vfat,--,umask=0,codepage=850,iocharset=iso8859-1,sync 0 0
/dev/hda1 /mnt/windows vfat umask=0,codepage=850,iocharset=iso8859-1 0 0
none /proc proc defaults 0 0
/dev/hda4 swap swap defaults 0 0
Did I mention that everything worked two months ago, the last time I burned a CD? I don't remember changing anything.

And I tried burning as root, that didn't change anything.

Help!

Please,

Vince
