NAS and Proxy
Hello All,
Just trying to build a small pc with plenty of space in it 1Tb or 2Tb have a computer lying around that going to put frew hard disks in but picking the software is the problem.
Want to run some form of NAS found OpenNas looks very nice, but i also want to have it as my internet proxy so can track what usage each computer is getting and where they are visiting.
Was thinking of just installing Debian on server and squid for the proxy then installing samba and scp for file transfer, then might just setup rsync to backup files to other hard disks. Unless i can setup RAID but not sure how that works with stand alone PC.
Any other suggestions? or some distro that does it all inclusive?
Thanks
