mysql support in php4.3-dev

I have just build php 4.3 latest snapshot on my dev box, only to find that there seems to be a problem with the mysql support. PHP is connecting to the database just fine, but I notice that the mysql section of my phpinfo page shows:

...
MYSQL_INCLUDE no value
MYSQL_LIBS no value

whereas all the other systems I'm working on show:

...
MYSQL_INCLUDE
MYSQL_LIBS

Is there something odd going on here ? Perhaps I need to throw in another config option ?

thanks,
christo

well I found that it wasn't a database issue that was giving me problems, but there seems to be a little odd thing in 4.3 which I have posted about here:
