mysql dropped database.... can it be restored?


I did something really newbie today and dropped a database without backing it up first... is it gone forever?

First step is to slap yourself in the head cause there's most likely a chance your not getting your database back without a backup. Unless you know or familiar with some forensic tools for recovery, depending on how important this database was, it's probably less hassle to start over and rebuild it.
