MySQL


What is the difference between MySQL and ORacle database beside the cost $$$ and open source? What is the pro and con using MySQL?

MySQL does not have many features Oracle has. But usually you don't need most of the advanced features. When you have to decide, you need to know what you need.

BTW Don't forget that's there's also PostgreSQL. Plus, new versions have more features.
