i went to a lan party on the weekend, and i took two computers.
an xp machine, and a linux machine
the linux machine was a half life gaming server, run on slackware, it was a complete success, and thanks to your help, the fastest there!
it crashed a few times with some line 83 or 81 errors in hlds, but other than that it was ok, we got to use it as a clan warm up, and as a public server with logging,
im glad i chose linux for my server, and most of all im glad i chose slackware :P.
