mvoing multiple items

I was moving maps that I had to decompress manually for goty and I couldn't figure out how to get them to all move. Can I get a little help pls

Well you can use the mv command if your just wanting to move them from one place to another. If its every file in a particular directory lets say in /home/usera/files/all the files here, you could do a:

mv ~/files/* /new-location

Or if you just have several files in say that same directory files you could do this after cd'ing into that directory:

mv file1 file2 file3 /new-location
