Musical distro or something like that

Hi everyone.
Well, here's the thing. I have a couple of very good friends, both are musicians and they asked me about some SW that could help them in their stuff.
I suggested a distro called "Musix".
One of them tried and like it, but he want something more powerful in apps.

Did you, dear fellas, other Linux distros that the main goal of them is the music production?

Thanks anyway !

I happen to really like Fedora with the PlanetCCRMA packages (provided by Stanford).

I haven't used Musix, so you'll have to do your own comparison there
