Multiple tty in command line

I dont know if some of you guys are familiar with BitchX. But it has a feature where you can split the window so you can see two windows at once.

Now this would be really cool if i could do this, but with two terminals running. One on top and one below that i could see both at the same time.

If someone knows of a way of doing that. Would appreciate, thanks!

You could always have two xterms ope. :) Other than that I know that both gnome-terminal and Konsole support tabbed windows so you could switch between tabs as well.

hmm.. yes but it would be nice to have it in command line (full screen) instead of running X. because it takes less resources.
