Multiple mopuse control with touch screens

Here is a hypothetical...

I want to have a dual head display set up. OK, that can be done. But I wantt hem BOTH to be touch screen.

Would this be done by using my serial ports instead of PS/2? or am i dreaming here?

As long as your touch screens are based on ports that your computer has more than one of, for example serial or USB, then you are good to go. I current have a dual head setup with serial based Microtouch touch screens and they work great. All you have to do is put an Option "ScreenNo" "0" for the touch screen associated with screen 0 and use "1" for screen one. This way, X Windows will only assoaicte that toush screen's input with that particular screen. Not doing this would cause X to logically sctrech you touches across both displays.

Take care,

Since your post was a couple of years ago, I hope that answer will help future generations. ;-) I gotta start checking the post dates before replying.
