Multiple monitors

anyone had tried to work with multple text console on dual monitors ?
ps: x.org is working great in dual configuration but i need to work in console too

i have a serial console and normal monitor/kbd if thats what you mean, otherwise i dont think you can do it.

what i mean is this :
to see tty1 on first monitor , and tty5 on second monitor (and a way to switch between them) and one keyboard

pa: Maybe i need to patch the kernel (something like in this how-to http://tldp.org/HOWTO/XFree-Local-multi-user-HOWTO )
