Multiple GUI Logins

From non-graphical runlevel 3(three), I can Alt-F1 / Alt-F2 / Alt-F... to get to seperate login prompts and login as different users with their own login scripts/profiles; similar to the days of terminals and serial cables.

I can then switch between different/seperate user sessions with the Alt-F? funtion keys to test/troubleshoot while sitting at my desk.

---
At runlevel 5(five), I am presented with more than one *desktop* but if I switch between those desktops I am still logged in as the same user.

I have set up VNC so that I (different users) am able to login from different boxes and get seperate GUI sessions but would prefer not bouncing all over the shop from box to box to do my testing...

I'm not really that lazy, but this is a test environment and I have to do this all day!.

My Question: Is there a "GUI" way to "Alt-F1 /Alt-F2/ Alt-F..." between different *graphical* user login sessions from the same console?

I have referenced the books at my disposal ( Wiley's RHEL/Fedora Bible and SAM'S RHEL5 Unleashed) but did not found or have overlooked the answer...

Thanks for any input

Fast user switching provides this function on most distributions using either Gnome or KDE desktops. Take a look at your panel(s); do you see your name or login? If so, thats a drop down menu that lets you switch to another login, without logging off the current session. If you don't see it, right click on your panel and do an 'add to panel'. It should be in the list of available applets.
