Question multilmedia in redhat 8.0


hi
my souncard is crystal codec (ISA).when i use the SOUND DETECTION
,the mesaage say "no soundcard is detect",but when i use a
SNDCONFIG command ,it detects my sound card and test it correctly
,but now i can't use the xmms and other multimedia program,
(i use redhat 8.0 in Gnome),pleast help me how i can fix my problem.

What's your problem? Be a little more specific. If your trying to play mp3's then go to the xmms website and download the rpm and install it...

Be a little more informative about what you're trying to do, what isn't working, and what it does instead...

if it's mp3 you can't play, it's coz redhat didn't include the mpg123 plugin. some licensing issue, i think.
