MSN Messenger
Okay I see a lot of people using the MSN Messenger Engine on Linux... only 1 question... where is the documentation??? I downloaded it, installed it... loaded it... and that's as far as I got. I can't figure out how to configure anything. What gives?!

Yea - that's it.. thats the one I was talking about.. no docs. BUT, I have since found GAIM which is supposed to support MSN.. but .. LOL .. again, I see screen shots of it, but no docs or plugins that I can find at all. From what I've seen, I'd rather use the GAIM client in X, or something a lot like it.. any idears?

are you downloading the rpm or tar.gz files.. ?? with rpm, you can usually install with:
rpm -i /name-of-file.rpm
tar.gz like this:
tar xzf /name-of-file.tar.gz
then read the install and readme docs to install.
or just goto the homepage.. have you tried it ?? http://gaim.sourceforge.net/documentation.php

Yep done all of that .. it's installed. But only support I see is for AOL. I've checked the home page and found no plug-ins for MSN compatibility. Only MSN related items I found where for smiley's and other name updates, that sort of thing. The documentation of the home page for MSN Support says "Not yet written" ... like I said, I've done as much searching as I can, and can find nothing??

Thanks, that was it. Just for grins, I did a grep on the text files in the .tar file, and that path was buried in one of the install files... wasn't very apparent. Thanks for the help!
