Mp3 Flash Memory Player Kernel compilation

i have a mp3 flash memory player which also support MMC card.
currently i didnt included memory support for flash memory in my kernel 2.6
my mp3 flash memory player is

it is a blue thunder flash mp3 player.

which memory type support should i compile to be included in to the kernel or as a module?

i'm now running kernel 2.6.5.

and how to plugins my blue thunder flash memory mp3 player into linux machine.

i wanted to upgrade my kernel to the lates kernel 2.6.7
