Mozilla Configuration

Hi all ,

I am having redHat 6.22 with kernel 2.2.14. I have build the mozilla
1.0.2 for configuring it on hdd. Browser is working fine unless when I am
trying to access any applet from the server. Even though there is plug-in
installed on my machine. Following set of statements are displayed while
accessing the applet. The browser hangs after showing the message
connecting to 199.100.100.31...

Following are the set of statements which are displayed on the background
console.

Using server port : 141595

*****************SERVER ERROR**********************
Could not connect to host
*********************************************
Server : Performed connect and dupt 17 18
Server : JVM:Starting the thread
Server : JVM:Thread started

****************************** SERVER ERROR *************
write_fully: Did not write everything pipe=18 4 -1
****************************************************

Any idea what would be the problem. Even I am getting the exact meaning of
Using server port : 141959

and this port number is changing every time I restart the mozilla....

>From where this port address is getting configured . ?

The problem seems to be with your Java Virutal machine, or the applet it's trying to run.

What is this applet, and what is it doing? From here it looks like it's trying to connect to a service that isn't running.

It's probably not even your problem. It seems more likely that it's the server that your applet is trying to contact.

Basically I have ported this mozilla on small footprint of linux and I am porting the files as required on the DiskOnchip. While porting the Mozilla , Mozilla was giving some errors , as the errors were having some meaning It was very easy to figure out what was the problem. But now It showing above message and stops working.
I have also tried it on hard disk . On both (DOC and hdd) JVM is same. On hdd it works fine.

The applet which I am trying to run, its on local machine.

As I can run the applet on hdd. there would not be any problems with applet and server.
