Moving images

A little different than my other post, determined it would probably be just for a new thread.

Same situation, my professor's server only accessible from campus from Windows machines and Telnet. I have some images I need to put onto the server, how can I do this in the terminal from a Windows box?

Does the windows box run telnet as a service, too? If it doesn't
there's NO way.
And are you 100% certain that server doesn't allow ssh and/or ftp?

Cheers,
Tink

Well if your Professors server is running Samba (and its configured, and you have correct permissions) then it is accessible via Windows (SMB), you can just goto Start->Run and type "\\server" and select the volume you want to drop the images on.

I think the bottom line is you need to ask your professor or see if he's willing to setup a method for those that live off campus (ftp, ssh, etc)...
