Mouse Wheel

Sorry for the format of the post, but it is important.

Please, scroll the page in such a way that you cant see the beginning of the following "code" and put your mouse pointer

Code:
(try that this text is not displayed)

OVER HERE
and use the scroll wheel. Does it work? It doesn't for me. If the pointer is in "normal text" I have not problems, but I can't when it is over preformatted text. Could it be something related with Mozilla?? Missconfiguration in X??

Thank in advance for any advice...

It's probably a glith because the mouse wheel scrolls horizontally in CODE fields when the field is longer than the screen:

Code:
foobarfoobarfoobarfoobarfoobarfoobarfoobarfoobarfoobarfoobarfoobarfoobarfoobarfoobarfoobarfoobarfoobarfoobarfoobarfoobarfoobarfoobarfoobarfoobarfoobar
It's a problem for me in FF on Linux, I'll check later if it's an issue from Windows as well

Indeed strange. Over that particular text I cannot scroll up nor down, but when the pointer is over other text, it works fine. Actually, in the foobar example, I was able to scroll up and down without problem

Have just checked from FF in windows - can scroll down perfectly. That must make it a Linux FF issue. . .

Yep for me too in firefox. If the box is completely in my screen (1280*1024) no problem, if it's half up or down and I keep my mouse in it it doesn't scroll.
