Mouse Scrolling problem (I have searched the threads too)
My mouse works fine, but when I am trying to scroll through an internet site or anything else for that matter my mouse will scroll at least and maybe more than one page at a time. I had MDK82 installed and the scrolling worked great (a few lines at a time and really smooth). Well anyway I had trouble with the sound in that version that I couldn't figure out so I went back to MDK81 and no I have this inconvience.
I did notice in the threads that related to mouse problems that I shoudn't be emulating 3 buttons so I will comment that out and try that, but has anyone else had this problem and figured out the resolution yet.

If your using KDE go to the control panel and you can set the scroll value under Peripherals--->Mouse-->Advanced.

I run BlackBox and FluxBox. I don't really care for KDE that much. It just seems to have to have a lot of unnecessary overhead to me.
I will try disabling the emulate3button option in the config file and see if that helps.
BTW, it is a MS IntelliMouse.

I will try that. I normally use Galeon so I will see if there is a setting in that program.
I looked at my mouse configuration and I already had emulate 3 buttons disabled so that wasn't the problem.
Thanks for the help.

Cool, I will definitely do that. That damn mouse is driving me crazy with the way it scrolls. I don't know why it does that cause with it the way it is right now it pretty much makes it pointless to have a damn wheel mouse.
I will let everyone know if this fixes it or not.
