mouse problem


fresh install of rh7 and the mouse does not work, its plugged in and i know i picked the right one installation (generic two button wheel), but now at the gnome desktop i see a cursor but the mouse is not working. how do i fix this? is it looking to the wrong port or something?

my wireless usb mouse works fine, where can i change the settings for my ps/2 mouse? i think something might have been messedup with it.

what does your 'ls -l /dev/mouse' show??it must be a link to /dev/psaux.
