Mounts unreadable by normal users

I have my computer set up so that it has partitions setup for very specific things. hda has an XP install, and that's it. HDB has my Linux root directory, it has a directory for /home, and it has a fat32 partition for samba shared drive. The problem is, users other than root can not read anything past the first folder in both of the fat32 partitions. Here's a copy of my fstab:

/dev/hdb2 / ext2 defaults 1 1
/dev/hdb3 /home ext2 defaults 1 2
/dev/hda1 /mnt/xp vfat defaults 1 2 ((This is the XP install))
/dev/hdb4 /suncracker vfat defaults 1 2 ((This is the samba drive))

I've tried changing the owners with chown, i've tried using different configurations in fstab (like unmask, though i don't remember what happened) and nothing has allowed my regular users to access what i want them to.

Try to add options like user and umask=000 to fstab.
