Mounting Folder to FTP Space

Is there a way to mount a folder so that the contents of that folder are the same as the contents of some folder on a remote ftp server?

Is this your own remote server and share? If its another FTP site that is not yours, most likely not. You could set it up to mirror it though, using wget.

Try having a look at FUSE (sorry no URL to hand). I think this is the sort of thing it's meant to handle (ftpfs, sshfs, etc).

I haven't tried FUSE but you can do this with nfs.
