mount.nfs: access denied by server while mounting (null) when mounting nfs shares into each other.

Hi all,

I've set up four nfs shares and I can mount all of them, anywhere I want but inside each other. If I try to do so, I see this error message:
Code:
mount.nfs: access denied by server while mounting (null)
The host is Ubuntu 16.04, the clients are Linux Mint Cinnamon 18.2 (VM), Artix LXQt x86_64 (VM) and Deepin 15.5 beta. I could mount the shares in each other earlier on Deepin 15.4 and 15.4.1 but now I cannot.

Share definitions, mount commands and the contents of /var/lib/nfs/etab

Why can't I mount the shares into each other on the clients?

You mean a new NFS mount to a directory that is within another mounted NFS file system?
That should actually work.
Ensure the mount point is not a symbolic link!

Yes, exactly.
I know that since it worked before.
The mount point is a real directory, not a symbolic link.

Is the mount point a directory with 755 permissions?
Do you use NFSv3? You can force it with mount option vers=3

It's working again. I mounted server:/mnt to /media/weylyn1/data, then changed permissions of data/Downloads to 755 and mounted server:/home/weylyn1/Downloads to there, with vers=3 option. Then by curiosity, I mounted Pictures to data/Pictures without changing its permissions from 700 and without vers=3. It worked.
