Mount HD Partition


Hi, I have 2 hard drives the first one is Windows and Linux Installation and the second one is a lot of data. How can I mount the second HD?

I tried :

mount /dev/hda2 /mnt/Disk2...

but Doesnt exist..


Thanks a lot..

If you have a second disk it will be hdb hdc or hdd depending on how it is connected. If it only has one partition try this until you get success:
mkdir /mnt/Disk2
mount /dev/hdb1 /mnt/Disk2
mount /dev/hdc1 /mnt/Disk2
mount /dev/hdd1 /mnt/Disk2

You should be able to see what he drive name is by running:
fdisk -l

If you still have problems then check that you have support or the partition type by running:
cat /proc/filesystems

Thanks a lot. I tried with /dev/hdb1 and now is working fine..
