MOUNT Command in LINUX

I am mounting my PC to another PC because the data that I want to access is on that PC. The command that I used is "mount 192.168.0.50:/opt /opt"
The message "mount: RPC: Program not registered" is always prompting.
Ive tried running nfs service and network service but still the same message always appears.

What do I do?

i think you should configure samba , and use

#mount -t smbfs // <ip> /sharename <mount point>

if you dont know how to conifgure samba then give a search

Go to /etc/init.d and start nfs

# nfs start

Should do the trick
