Mount an NTFS Partition?

When I was using Windows ME and Linux, I was able to mount the ME partition (same hard drive) fine in Linux, and access everything on my Windows partition in Linux.
I have since then upgraded to Windows XP, using NTFS, and have no idea how to mount XP's NTFS partition in Mandrake 8.0. Anybody got any suggestions?
Thanks,
oostevo

You might have to recompile your kernel with NTFS support (read-only). I'm not positive this will do it, but I know it isn't compiled by default.

that's what he just said!

you should have an ntfs module on your system which you can use to mount the partitions read only. write support is very dodgy
