More KDE Resolution Issues

I've had a resolution problem similar to this before, but was able to solve it on my laptop..

My maximum allowed resolution in KDE is currently 1280x1024. I've added 1600x1200 to the xorg.conf file to make it look like the following:

Code:
# "1024x768" is also a conservative usable default resolution. If you
# have a better monitor, feel free to try resolutions such as
# "1152x864", "1280x1024", "1600x1200", and "1800x1400" (or whatever your
# card/monitor can produce)

    Subsection "Display"
        Depth 8
        Modes "1600x1200" "1280x1024" "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480"
    EndSubsection
    Subsection "Display"
        Depth 16
        Modes "1600x1200" "1280x1024" "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480"
    EndSubsection
    Subsection "Display"
        Depth 24
        Modes "1600x1200" "1280x1024" "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480"
    EndSubsection
    Subsection "Display"
        Depth 32
        Modes "1600x1200" "1280x1024" "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480"
    EndSubsection
I've also modified the hsync max (which solved the problem on my laptop) to support the higher resolutions. However, this time, it only allowed me to select 1280x1024 as the highest resolution. I checked the /var/log/Xorg.0.log file and saw that there were no 1600x1200 modes available. The highest mode available showing in the log file is:

Code:
Mode: 124 (1280x1024)
        ModeAttributes: 0xbb
        WinAAttributes: 0x7
        WinBAttributes: 0x0
        WinGranularity: 64
        WinSize: 64
        WinASegment: 0xa000
        WinBSegment: 0xa000
        WinFuncPtr: 0xc000548f
        BytesPerScanline: 5120
        XResolution: 1280
        YResolution: 1024
        XCharSize: 8
        YCharSize: 16
        NumberOfPlanes: 1
        BitsPerPixel: 32
        NumberOfBanks: 1
        MemoryModel: 6
        BankSize: 0
        NumberOfImages: 2
        RedMaskSize: 8
        RedFieldPosition: 16
        GreenMaskSize: 8
        GreenFieldPosition: 8
        BlueMaskSize: 8
        BlueFieldPosition: 0
        RsvdMaskSize: 0
        RsvdFieldPosition: 0
        DirectColorModeInfo: 0
        PhysBasePtr: 0xd8000000
This is where my laptop and desktop differ. The laptop has entries for a 1600x1200 mode. What file, and what modifications need to be done to add this 1600x1200 mode?

Thanks in advance.
