Migrate VMWare images to other VMs?

How difficult is it to migrate an image created with VMWare Server over to another VM server such as QEMU or VirtualBox?

All depends. The underlying technology is probably drastically different in how these interact with the virtualization software. So unless each has a conversion tool, probably not that easy or even possible.

VMWare Converter is used to convert a native OS to a virtual one for VMWare. I suppose that would work to convert an image from another VM to VMWare, also.

I have not played with the other ones, so I don't know if they have the same type of conversion tech?
