media player for linux
Where can I found media player for redhat advance server 3.0.The current available programmes are not able to open the .dat file.

mplayer, xine, vlc, totem just to name a few.
What is a .dat file anyway? Do you have the right codec? |

That said, .dat certainly isn't anything that I'd recognise as a multimedia file extension; what is it supposed to be? Cheers, Tink |
The .dat file comes from VCDs iirc. Just open Xine and click on the button that says VCD. If it's configure correctly, they'll play.
