meaning of % symbol?
I've seen the % symbol used in files and am curious to know more about it's use.
Example: in Grip under Encode File Format the following is listed; ~/mp3/%A/%d/%n.ogg. Obviously ~/mp3 is my home directory leading to my mp3 directory and I assume A,d and n are switches, but how do the %'s work? Didn't find anything on these forums or by googleing. |
Look in the Grip help (section "Configuration (%) switches"). They are Grip specific and are used for customizing the name of mp3 files produced.
