MDK10.1 /mnt remove/change entries?

In learning to mount a partition to MDK (it's now permanently mounted via fstab), I thought it would be nice to rename the win_c, win_c2, etc... that are assigned, to something meaningful. It worked fine for the first one (XP). The others keep changing around as to which one they are assigned to, I think because I do not know how to delete an empty folder in /mnt .

I tried umount but it just said it wasn't mounted (which of course it's not). I tried to delete it but no joy.
Any help would be appreciated.

to remove a directory use the command: rm -rf /path/to/dir

rm = remove
-r = recursive (and takes out directories)
-f = be quiet (doesn't varify the deletion of every file and dir)
