MBR Messed Up

Hey guys a guy asked me to take ubuntu off of his computer and I did so but now I only get the "ubuntu rescue>" prompt when I boot up. I have gone into gparted with fdisk and found that everything is still formatted but I cannot fix the MBR to save my life... here is the output from fdisk:

Disk /dev/sda: 320 GB, 320072933376 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 38913 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes
Disk indentifier: 0xc8000000

Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/sda1 1 25 .... de Dell bullshit
/dev/sda2 26 1984 .... 7 HPFS/NTFS
/dev/sda3 * 1984 38914 .... 7 HPFS/NTFS

Sorry I had to type that out b/c I can't get it off the computer cause none of the drivers are working...

Anyway, some help being able to boot back into windows would be super cool.

When you delete a Linux install, you typically take away the GRUB config file also.

If you just want Windows, then simply boot up from the Windows install CD, go to rescue mode, and do "fixmbr".
