master boot record


I have suse 8.1 and w2000. I must install w2003 server . My problem is that this operating system will write again the mbr....so i will not be able to start linux / What i must do?

You need to create yourself a boot disk so you can get back into linux after installing Win2K3 Server. Once you are into the Linux side of things simply run lilo (assuming you are using LILO as your boot loader and not grub, and that the Win install doesn't change your partitions).
