Mandriva: How can I get rid of "Enter passphrase for ~/.../.ssh/id_sda"
 

I'm doing some translation for Fedora on my Mandriva box, and now get the following message after booting when logging in:

"Enter passphrase for /home/linux/.ssh/id_sda" (username is "linux")

This has something to do with the repository to download .po files for translating, but I know very little about how all of that works. All I know is that when I followed the same instructions on FC6, it didn't ask me for a password every time I booted/logged in. I'd like to keep it that way, that is, I'd like things to work the same way on Mandriva.

Does anybody have any idea why I'm asked to "Enter passphrase..." and how I can change this to ask for it only when I download .po files from the repository using the terminal?

it's possible to not use passphrases on ssh in general, just by leaving it blank - remember it was YOU that enforced the password in the first place. good to insist on them though, but it really isn't as dangerous as not having a password for the account itself. i'll admit i never use passphrases when i am doing using ssh psk's.

Yes, that's one solution. However, that's not my point. When I boot my Mandriva box, before I can do anything I get a window that opens up and I have to give my ssh password before I can do anything else, even if I'm not even going to consult, download, etc. any of the documents... even if I've booted up my computer just to watch a film! In Fedora, it only asks me for my password when I try to download .po files from the repository from the terminal. So there must be a way of configuring Mandriva so that it doesn't insist on me giving my password when I log into the GUI. But... How?

oh right, well i assume there's a cvs service that you could stop starting on boot?
