Mandrake Multiple OS boot

I just installed Mandrake with WinXP, and when the computer gets to the Mandrake Multi-OS boot screen, linux is the default loading OS, how can I make it so that winXP will auto load?? Any Suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks, Rob

I do

Good, now open up your Mandrake Control Center, and click on boot options. You will see a LILO config screen come up, click on configure boot loader. In the drop down menu, you will see your entry for XP, highlight it, and choose modify. Click the default box, and then ok. Then ok, and ok until you are all out. Now the change should have been made.

Another way...

Open up with root the /etc/lilo.conf file. Locate the line that says "default = linux" or something very similar to that. Now find your entry for XP and note the title = XP line. Whatever it says for XP is what you will want. Now, on the default line (default = linux) change linux to XP, so it will look like:
default = XP

Only XP is what your "label" for your XP is.

I hope that makes sense. If not, let me know, I will break it down better.

Cool

Sorry it took so long.
1)open linuconf
2)Under the config tab click on boot
3)click on lilo
4)click default boot configusration
5)click windows

That's it. You might want to make a boot disk and backup you lilo config files.
