mandrake doesn't recognize partition table
 

i was trying to install mandrake on 3GB partition i just created but when i reached the parttion step ,i get a message from mdrake saying that it could not read my partition table and to proceed at my own risk ? i am actually running slackware but i would like to try mandrake for a little experiment of mine . here's my partition table ( ugly one by the way , but it's what i have:D ):

Clearly you're installing Mandy on /dev/hda6. Here's how.

Boot Mandy
Pick expert
At partitioning, pick Disk Druid
Format /dev/hda6
Mount as /

You know the rest.

I tried before the expert but still there are no partitions at all represented on disk druid ( the whole disk is one big blank) i'm afraid to go ahead with it as it might not recognize stuff that i don't want to format . (anyways ... now i know where am at thanks to kdisk , great stuff!!) I'm almost sure it has to do with with a swap "hair cut" i did and messed up my partition table , then again i made some changes to fullfill the gaps that were left (my hda10 has 213MB) . Does anybody knows why sometimes partition tables can't be read? e.g. if there are empty spaces between them and other irregularities , the program is not abble to fully understand what's happening so it "tilts"?
