You should actually be able to put in the cd and boot from that and perform a rescue similar to Red Hats Rescue feature.

I prefer however:
http://www.toms.net/rb/

There's a very good boot dsik there.

sorry, I mean where i can get LILO.

Lilo, the Linux Loader, should have been installed when you installed Mandrake, or perhaps Grub was installed. So, what exactly do you mean? Does the system boot? Is it a dual-boot syatem? Some details, please.

OK. My frend wants to know where can get LILO. BTW:Is LILO bootdiskette? My friend needs mandrakes bootdisk, please give link to file, what is bootdisk.

Well, I'm confused. Do you want a floppy disk that is bootable? If so, put a blank floppy in, open the Control Centre, click Boot, Boot Disk, and then Build the Disk. This disk will enable you to boot your machine from a floppy. If your friend's setup is identical, it will also boot his/hers. If their setup is different, it probably won't. In that case, you need to boot from cdrom, put the Mandrake cd1 in and boot from that. Alternatively, install a 3rd party bootloader like XOSL, from xosl.org
