making a user to run file (group)
 
hello there

i give my username paxmaster to a primary group call sys
i basicly edit the file call /etc/group and add paxmaster to sys

sys:x:3:"paxmaster"

and change the group to sys /sbin/ifup
when i try to run as a user /sbin/ifup: failed to open statefile /etc/network/ifstate: Permission denied

what would i do to work it out

i have to put double quote in this forum "paxmaster" if i don't it will be simily face

in plans words, how would i make a user run programs that require root
