Is this root's mail for you system or another email account you have setup? Do you have a mail server running, if so you can forward this mail to another email account, etc. If its some other type of mail provided by another service, ISP, etc, you will have to have them forward the mail to your Hotmail account or such.

I have sendmail running but all its doing is forwarding mail to my internal mail server. THere are no mail accounts on the mail server, its simply acting as a mail scanner for viruses. When sendmail sees a virus it sends a mail to postmaster@blah.blah. These emails sit on the linux box for when I log in as root and type 'mail' to see the messages there. I want THESE messages to go to another email address outside my facility. I don't want to have to log into the linux server to see these.
