MacOsX, Darwin, *Nix BSD: Can we make linux and Mac compatible for programs ?

Hello,
I would like that one day we could have such great developments like Mac,
http://www.opensource.apple.com/darwinsource/10.5.1/
they are not that slow, and we could benefits of such Microsofts applications for Linux.

I like my Mac, and love its Theme. A file browser. I know that we have Baghira for Kde, but that's not the same.

There is the Darwin http://www.opensource.apple.com/darwinsource/10.5.1/, why not a linux compatible with it or running it ?

You'll say that it is impossible... but I try the thread :oups sorry:

Cheers to Linuxers !

Not impossible, just needs time

BSD builds aren't readable by Linux distributions; however, you may want to look in the Debian kFreeBSD project for progress between the two systems. Gentoo also has a set of *BSD + Linux distributions in development.
