Lycoris Desktop/LX installation error!!
 

I downloaded Lycoris Desktop/LX and burned the image file using Nero BurningROM. But when i boot from the CD and select Install Desktop/LX, i get the following error message

"Error 28: Selected item cannot fit into memory. Press any key to continue...". When i press a key the boot menu shows up again.

My system configuration is as given below.

AMD Athlon XP 2000+ Processor.
ASUS A7N266-VM Motherboard.
128 MB DDR-RAM.
1.44 MB FDD(Sony).
40 GB HDD(Seagate Barracuda).
15" Monitor(Samsung 56V).
52X CD-ROM Drive(Samsung).
PS/2 Mouse(Logitech).
Multimedia Keyboard(Samsung).

My system has onboard graphics (GeForce 2 MX) and Dolby Digital sound sub-system.

I have Windows 2000 Professional installed on the C partition (8 GB partition size).

Please help.

I just installed the new Lycoris build and had no problems. Did you check your md5sums?
