lvm extending logical partation
 

i am using redhat AS 4, i created p.e then vg and the logical volume.
i increased vg size, after that i increase lvextend to increase logical volume.
lvdisplay shows new size increased but logical volume is full.
so

#ext2online /lvm01
to increase size but getting error



ext2online: ext2_open: fs has unsupported featues enabled: compat 10ext2online: can't open /dev/mapper/vg001-vol1

Isn't there any utility for ext3 filesystem to extend.

i have installed e2fsprogs. but not getting resize2fs.
