lvm crashed after Mainboard ended up in smoke
Hello together
Unfortunately my mainboard ended up in smoke and I had to change it. Now I have the problem that I cannot start my suse-linux any more, 'cause my system cannot find LVM any more for any reason.
That's on my boot screen:
Loading kernel/fs/reiserfs/reiserfs.ko
Waitin for device /dev/lvol/lvol1 to appear: . Unable to find volume
group "lvol"
Unable to find volume group "lvol"
Unable to find volume group "lvol"
Unable to find volume group "lvol"
Unable to find volume group "lvol"
Reading all physical volumes. This may take a while ...
No volume groups found
Unable to find volume group "lvol"
not found -- exiting to /bin/sh
sh: can't access tty; job control turned off
I tried to access from Knoppix, but unfortunately I couldn't get access to my hd.
The following I got from fdisk -l:
Platte /dev/hda: 160.0 GByte; 160041885696
255 Köpfe, 63 Sektoren/Spuren, 19457 Zylinder
Einheiten = Zylinder von 16065 x 512 = 8225280 Bytes
Gerät boot Anfang Ende Blöcke Id System
/dev/hda1 x 2 51 401625 83 Linux
/dev/hda2 52 19456 1555870662+ 8e Linux LVM
I have no idea how to mount my hd to access my data. Is it possible to attach my hd as slave in another suse-linux machine and to access from an working machine to this hd?
I am very placeful for any comments
Greetings
Mirco
