Hello together

Unfortunately my mainboard ended up in smoke and I had to change it. Now I have the problem that I cannot start my suse-linux any more, 'cause my system cannot find LVM any more for any reason.
That's on my boot screen:

I tried to access from Knoppix, but unfortunately I couldn't get access to my hd.

The following I got from fdisk -l:

I have no idea how to mount my hd to access my data. Is it possible to attach my hd as slave in another suse-linux machine and to access from an working machine to this hd?

Knoppix doesn't have LVM support, which is why it wasn't helpful.

To mount the lvm, you need to boot using something with lvm support and then activate the lvm like this:

lvm vgscan
lvm lvscan
lvm vgchange -a y

Then you should be able to:
lvm vgscan
lvm lvscan

and see your volume group(s) and logical volume(s). If you don't have any other options for an emergency disk, you can use the FC4 Rescue CD here: http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pu...6-rescuecd.iso
