Lost desktop, KDE 4.4.4, OS 11.3

Hi all;

Don't know what I did but while moving the cursor around fast, suddenly my desktop reverted to the default openSUSE 11.3 background (circles) from a custom jpeg image and all the icons disappeared. Rebooting did not solve the situation. Never had this happen before in over twenty years.

Is there a way to restore the previous desktop or do I need to reconfigure everything?

Thanks, Tom

You could try going into the KDE control center and reset the desktop to your desired image. If you have trouble finding the KDE control center in the OpenSuse menu, open a terminal and run kcontrol. It gets you to the same app.
