Lost All Accounts
Not sure what happened, but now linux won't let me into any of the accounts on it. When I try to access one of the normal user accounts it says that the account has expired and that I need to see the sys admin. If I try to login as root, it tellls me that I don't have the right password. How can I get atleast into root? Once I get that back I can reestablish the other accounts.

Got to init 1
I have got myself from lilo into init 1. From there I have changed my password of root. Now, from this point I can motor around in text mode. I can move around the different directory structures and edit files. But if I try to move to runlevel 5 and start X it will not acknowledge my root password at the login screen. What is going on here? What do I need to fix? BTW, I was working with the security settings in MCC when this started. Is there a way that I can work with the security settings in text mode?

Fixed
Well, I tried typing in mcc. Low and behold, that let me change the security level back to standard. Now everything is working fine. I have access to all my accounts again. I am just wondering, is it supposed to lock you out of all your accounts when you set the security setting to higher? Well, thx for your help. I was in real panic mode for awhile there.
