Lost adsl connection
 
From a clean h/drive I have reinstalled xp (I need it for my video editing) and also reinstalled Ubuntu Intrepid and Ultimate edition all of which work ok. Unfortunately whilst I can get on to the internet with Intrepid and Ultimate, xp will see the connection but will not connect to my server. I need this connection as xp needs some updates.
Any ideas?

you get a lot of excellent video editing packages in Ubuntu.
