loopback adapter --> unamanaged device

Hi,

I went to the webmin and accidently deleted the loopback adapter. Now I can not add the loopback as an interface activated at boot time. I went to the KDE, and it loopback is shown as unmanaged device and its inactive. Netcfg won't let me edit the loopback. How do I solve this?

Also, I have 2 nic on the same machine. One is connected to local, and the other to internet. The interface that is connected to the internet is eth1. Ifconfig shows that both interface are up, but when I do ifup eth1, I got network unreachable error. Any idea?

Thanks.

John.
